Prediction: Likely to succeed

Allstar's Perfect Brownie pan was a hit. This is the same idea for cupcakes, so logic dictates it should enjoy some kind of success. I don't like it nearly as much as its predecessor, though, because there is no "hard edges" problem to solve with cupcakes.

  1. No "hard edges" problem with cupcakes? I tend to disagree with you on this one. How about the wrappers that are almost impossible to get off? Looks like there is no more need for them. I think this pan is more universal than the brownie pan. (although i do like the brownie pan as well) Can you cook cupcakes in a brownie pan? No, but you can cook brownies in this cupcake pan? Why not... now you have the edges everyone loves. I believe Costco sells the brownie bites and they are round. It's all about portion control these days. Even Martha Stewart shows how to use a cupcake pan to make deep dish pizzas, bacon egg and toast cups, savory upside-down mushroom tartlets and tortilla cups with yogurt and fresh fruit. (http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/39175540/ns/today-food/). Or what about mini cheesecakes with a different fruit topping on each. When i take desert somewhere i rather take a variety than just one and hoping everyone likes it. I think this pan is going to do well. I just wish i would have thought of it! Oh well maybe next time.
